  Experts on 607 BCE--How do you make the point simply and effectively?

  i have been going back and forth via email with a jw friend.

  the subject got around to 607 bce, so i asked her if she could find a non-wts source to prove that date.

  of course, she writes back telling me about all the complicated info.

  The point is made at SI 285:5, with the pivotal date of 539 BCE.

  As for Jesus: he's the head of roughly 100,000 congregations. That's hardly inactive. The program of study provided by the meeting schedule for 4 meetings per week, plus the public talk outlines and other local needs parts, and the various publications (including the day's text and comments). There's a lot to all of that. It's a good thing he rules from Heaven; he wouldn't have the energy otherwise.

  Such a compliment (just like his Mom in NYC) is hard to come by. Moms have a special spot that other kids mock sometimes. We each have our own family traditions and values, after all.

  JW, or interested person (as the case happens to be), may have a penchant for numbers from being around their Father, who know the number of hairs on all our heads. In this case, numbers reflect interest in people (whoever we are).

  I have a theory that, as Humans, we can't help but be honest, from Jehovah's viewpoint. He sees the twitches, which others often miss. As for Gnomes, Fairies, Elves, or Trolls, that's not my specialty.

  I'm reminded of the Apostle Paul comment at Acts 9:19-23. Verse 21 there states: To those without law I became as without law, although I am not without law toward God but under law toward Christ, that I might gain those without law. On occasions, like Paul, I can use the phrase "I reply like a madman".
